July 7, 2022 Provo Pulse

Well, last weekend was pretty spectacular!  We counted between 700 and 1,000 visitors to our City Hall and Public Safety open house last weekend.  It was fun to interact with so many residents and their families, and to watch their reactions to the new building.  It was universally positive.  A few of the comments from social media this week:

Vickie Johnson - We loved the open house. This is the rooftop terrace on the 5th floor. Gorgeous views.

Jennifer Bowers Blackham - Beautiful addition to Provo. Our city employees deserve it.

Ben Metzger - This was a lot of fun! Thanks for being there on a Saturday.

Marla Edwards Wait - Every City Hall needs a sculpture in front of it. I think this one is unique and makes a literal statement. It's a great use of tax money for an educated population.

Tosh Metzger - Toured the new city center at the open house. WOW!  Pretty amazing. I enjoyed seeing city department heads and chatting it up with neighbors. Fountain out front is pretty cool. Once everything gets moved in, I think it will make Provo very proud!

The City's annual Pioneer Day Extravaganza is coming up on Saturday, July 23 at Kiwanis Park from 10 am to 2 pm.  There will be music, games, food trucks, a pie contest and more.
